Helloooo. It’s been way too long. Sorry about the long absence. Bass player Anthony and singer/guitarist Kylee got married Oct. 14, which slowed down the recording process for a couple months. But we’re back in action; we’re almost done with three songs and about to embark on the next batch. To read blogs on our progress, please go to www.myspace.com/loquat. We hope to start playing shows again in Feb. or March 2007.

Hi guys. How time flies. It's been a few months since our last update. We just finished recording three of the songs for our next album. Only nine more to go, but the next batch shouldn't take too long. We hope to be finished by the end of the year. For photos and updates, check out www.myspace.com/loquat. If you are added as our 2,000th friend, we’ll send you a t-shirt and a CD.

Hello. For those interested in our progress, we’ve written 20 songs for our second album. Now we just have to pick the ones we like best and get to recording. Before that, we’re playing with our Jackpine Social Club labelmates The Herms for their record release party at Great American Music Hall on May 4. After that, we’re reeeally going to try to stop playing live (it’s hard to say no to shows, but we gotta) for a few months so we can record our album. We like these new songs better than anything we’ve written before, so we're all jittery with anticipation to get to work! Wish us luck....

Hello Earth people, We’re still working on writing our second album, but we will play a show here and there while we’re doing that. Next up, we’re playing an all-ages show for Noise Pop. It’ll be at Bottom of the Hill on March 30, opening up for Her Space Holiday. Check out our “tourdates” section for more info.

Hello in 2006. We’re playing a show with the Heavenly States and Space Mtn. on Thursday, Feb. 16 at The Independent in San Francisco. Please come by if you can. Also, Loquat’s label, Jackpine Social Club, recently switched distributors, which means that your local record store may not have our album, It’s Yours to Keep, as of yet. If you’re having trouble finding the CD, please request from your local store. In the meantime, you can buy the album in our “merch” section for a new low price.
